Noreen, many thanks for the information about the village. If you have any old photographs or stories about village life we would love to put them up on the website.
As Noreen said Millendreath ( with an ‘e’ ) was named by our grandparents. It came about as our grandmother came on holiday with my family to Millendreath ( a hamlet in the parish of Looe in Cornwall ) and she enjoyed it so much that she decided to name the bungalow after this place.
This bungalow was built by my grandparent, Edmund and Beatrice Baker. They moved from the Old Rectory into the bungalow on its completion.
Noreen, many thanks for the information about the village. If you have any old photographs or stories about village life we would love to put them up on the website.
