Does anyone know if there were two different Hunt families in South Willingham at this time? If so please ignore what I am about to write! Three of the Hunt children here have the same names as my ancestors, but their ages don’t tally with our’s birth dates and the ages they seem to be in the photo. If there aren’t any other Hunt’s in the village it can’t be them. Or the date of the photo may be incorrect. Our Edith Hunt was born in 1909, so would have been 7 in 1916, Charles was born 1891 and would have been 25 in this year and Alice (my Grandma) was born 1898 so would have been 18 in 1916. If there was another family of Hunt’s with the same christian names I will be wrong! This could be right especially as we didn’t have Rose in our family. Incidentally Rose and the Alice on the front row do look like they could be sisters.
